Ive had absolutely ZERO problems w/ the $10 2j stat they sell at autozone or wherever...

You have to buy the rubber ring seperately but it does fit perfectly.

how about the pcv valve from the 2jz will it fit on the 1j

yes, PCV fits too. As does power steering pump, water pump, alternator (with adapted connector), etc. Pretty much any accessory will transfer over.
