Just the other day I could not boost past 10 psi. I didn't have time to investigate until now.

I started looking at vac lines and such and then saw this. I don't have an earlier picture to compare things to; but, I'm pretty sure this wasn't like this before my boost issue.

Could this be my boost issue...and what could've caused it to blow out?

I have a new tick also. Could this be related...hmmm...?

Thanks!

I looked at my 87T and that manifold is different; but, the hole is plugged so I went out and looked at my 89T. That manifold is the same and has that hole plugged.

Now that I know that it's supposed to be plugged, what in the world caused it to blow out of there!??!

Next is to figure out what to use to plug it...

Valley of the Sun
- Remove TB
- Apply appropriate size tap
- Screw in same size cap bolt
- Done!

I've never seen it before. Looks like you ran too much NOS, but the welds on your intake manifold were too well done, so it blew that plug out instead. Don't ask questions, you lucked out, kid.

Now, I'll drag race you to them thar train tracks...

Not running the juice. Not yet anyway... ;)

I haven't been around supras as long a lot of guys on here; but, in my short Supra life, I haven't seen this happen either.

I'm only at 13 psi of boost so I can't imagine it was that.

Lmao @ Ian...

Kenny: Yes, but better formulated. I'm usually not a fan of such repairs but when the need arises A4 puts consumer products like JB Weld to shame. Used all the time by the military and in aviation. It's serious stuff. Cheap and readily available too. Ebay has it. JB would work fine for your problem though ;)
