I dont remember where I found it, it was some time ago in a google search. I just had to save it because the first time I saw it also, I busted out laughing so hard, I think I almost started to cry.

I usually go swimming every week on the Wednesday. I pulled into the parking lot a few months ago to see this Ford Focus with a fart cannon just about ready to fall off and multiple badges. One or which being a V8 symbol and the other saying Cummins Power. I thought it was fucking hilarious. I didn't have my phone with me or I would have taken a picture. Sad part of the story is I haven't seen the car since.

^^i didnt know cobras came with vtec :sarcasm:

Actually, 96-98 Cobras have a system of intake manifold runner controls (IMRCs) that basically make the engine a 3v until 3500 RPM, when the IMRCs pop open and allow air down to the other valve as well. It's not V-TEC, but it's definitely audible, palpable and easily noticeable on a dyno chart. I'll see if I can find mine from the Indy meet and post it up for the lulz.

oh yeah, well my Supra has a valve in the intake manifold that splits the 2 individual banks into 1 large one once it hits 4k RPMs in order to boost low end torque and improve high-end power..:naughty:

;)

That's why they put IMRCs in the Cobras, they made 0 low end torque. lol
