Why are you getting all up in arms about someone wanting to see the picture? How does that make somebody a sick person? I thought the picture was worth a look, am I somehow dishonering the woman that died? Its not like her cadaver is in the photo. Save that teary eyed bullshit for another day. If you dont like the picture then go harrass the photographer that took it.

Theres nothing wrong with posting an article like this. It may help some on this forum to understand that having a fast car does not mean you know how to drive fast. It also is an example that even with driving ability (through experience which is not required to get a license) you are still subject to other drivers needs on the road (the truck uses a large part of the road) and their abilities.

That is why when you bend the rules/laws or act in ways that increase the risks things like this can easily happen. Very traggic and it will happen again. By the time i graduated college i had over a dozen friends/acquaintences be killed or kill someone when drunk driving.

This post also shows how some here dont have the maturity or compassion to know not to make smart ass cracks or insesative remarks.

Wrecks like this in the paper make the populance want to limit our ability to mod our cars and make a largely unjustified requests for additional restrictive laws. Laws that will punish, harass, and treat all of us the same as this dumass driver. A group i do not want to be believed to be part of.

My point is that there was a whole thread about the accident the day after it happened. And it is not teary eyed bullshit you insensitive prick! I unfortunately stopped at the scene as I recognized a friend of mine who happened to be one of the cops on the scene. I did not know what had happened until he told me. I had just stopped because I wanted to know what happened to the Supra. Little did I know that a young girl lost her life because of some idiot.

Furthermore, I never called kylefoto a sick person because he wanted the image. I was simply wondering why someone would want to see the image. I apologize to kylefoto for sounding like an asshole. But I am not apologizing to you troll.

Also, if people need to be reminded of why not to drink and drive, especially when you own a relatively high HP car, then you should not be driving at all! I think most of us are smart enough to realize that drinking and driving produces negative consequences for all parties involved.

BTW, learn how to spell!

I say lock this shit up because half the people posting morality bullshit have not even read the article or know what is going on. I fully agree with RM777 and I think the other chumps posting defenses to this post would have a different opinion if they drove by the bridge where it happened and saw the memorial site.

I was actually looking for this thread a while back too. My mom wanted to see it.

It's really sad what happened...but I think it's a great lesson to anyone who owns a fast car...Don't do anything stupid on the road, and know your car well before you push it. And MOST importantly...DON'T DRINK AND DRIVE!

I remember seeing this on the news a few months back (it happened in my city). "A late 80s sports car was crushed this evening under a semi" I thought, supra! And it was. heh. Then I told my girlfriend that his sawblades were on backwards, and she just looked at me like I was talking in greek or something.

Yeah, it was an unfortunate accident, but I really don't see anything wrong with making a thread about it either.
