If it has the speed sensor on the tail housing. the speed sensor should be on the left hand side and has (IIRC) a 4 wire connector on it. It will be separate from the 2 wire reverse light switch.

So I ordered a reman power steering pump from DM and I received a pump I'm not familiar with:
Reman'd on the left, stock 89 Turbo on the right:
The adjustment bracket holes are in different locations.
Does anyone know what this is from? What year?
Should I try to send it back? I don't have a bracket for this one and the woodruff key wont fit without shaving it.

I got my car running again after totaling my last shell. I noticed this wire when I bought it and it was running. It's getting hot enough to start melting the old electrical tape. It goes strait to the body harness. Is it even supposed to be connected to the positive? That's how it was set up before
