So my car is at the shop, being tore into. The guy said he should have it tore apart by tomorrow afternoon. And he will call me with a list of anything he finds wrong, or suggest I upgrade. I have about a 3000 dollar limit. So I have a little bit of play with the parts I can get. Hopefully Ill have my car beack in about 2 weeks, three max. But you never know....

So a little update:

I went to the shop today and they gave me a list of everything that I need to replace....

Head Gasket (The old one, was metal, and was blown in between each cylinder)
Rodbearings .50
Main Bearings .25
Camshafts (EXPENSIVE)
Piston rings .40
IC Piping (Stock IC piping is destroyed)
Clutch Kit
Tranny mount (W58, I have no idea where to get it from, help?)
Turbo rebuild (Im just going to rebuild the ct26 for now. It looks horrid though, chunks of the fins on it are missing)

So there is my list. If any of you guys know where to get this stuff for a little less then everywhere else, Id appreciate it. =]

stock for right now. This engine is going to be my first "big" horsepower engine. Big meaning 600hp to the wheel. So once i hit that, Ill rip the engine out and swap a 2jz in. Then Ill start a new thread and shoot for 800. Then 1000. And so on, so forth.

Edit: Im only 18, lol. In case you were wondering why its my first big hp car.

Lol. Thats all I do. Ill have a little more advantage then most people. Im going to a college that specializes in high performace vehicles. And the machines will be available to me on the weekends. So 600 should be easily had by the end of this year.

Damn, what a pain in the dick this build is becoming. I have a brand new block, new rods, new crank, new pistons....and the damn pistons dont have a stamp on them anywhere. I cant figure out what type of pistons they are. The shop cant figure it out. And I have no clue what kind they are. I need the rings for them, but i cant just slapp on any rings.

So if you could, name some out of the ordinary pistons they make for our cars.

Edit: All the new stuff (rods, pistons, crank and block) are from the previous owner.
