Leave the GTE in there and Unhook the WG actuator and wire the flapper open, it might make 1 psi of boost which will help economy as you use less throttle opening to accelerate to cruise speed.

Sorry If I'm intruding. Just curious my car is bone stock except for the manual boost controller and few minor things. Pushing 8 PSI normal driving I get 16.6mpg calculated by the Super Monitor. Just curious what others are getting?

all i got to say is you need to be pushing 300+ in a MKIII to keep up with a MKII gte w/a 3" catback and filter replacment. pm me ill hook you up.
