What's the airspeed velocity of an unladen swallow Mr. Smartypants? Hmmmm?

That's a 10.81 degree gun angle with a bullet time of flight = 0.53 sec
Assuming a relative constant velocity of 36' per sec (11 meter per sec) after bullet impact and a ballistic arc (folded wings) of the terminated swallow = 6.72 seconds

Total time to ground impact after the gun is fired = 7.25 sec +/- 0.25 sec for bullet impact and deceleration error ;)
The swallow will impact ~192' down range after bullet impact.

150ft=45.72m
assuming the bird is maintaining a constant height of 45.72m, at 9.8m/s^2, it will take the bird approximately 3 seconds. to fall to the earth.

am i right???

edit: well damn i didnt factor in all that stuff... jdub.. with your.. physics.
