Look what showed up this friday... obviously I have a lot of work ahead of me still, I just layed the turbo on the manifold to get some pics.

Well from what I've heard SP charges more for the same turbo's that PT makes. Just curious about that as well I guess.

The simplest thing that I did to relocate mine with the normal SP61GT is to trim off the long piece of the metal bracket that the PS reservoir mounts to and mount the rear most hole of the bracket on the reservoir to the forward hole. You now only have one bolt holding it in, but it also ends up resting on the fan shroud. It's also close enough to one of the fan shroud mounting holes to custom fab a new bracket to have two mounts holding it in place.

Or one could run the NA PS reservior and have OEM look and reliabilty.

ive got the sp61gt with down pipe. they did not have the dbb available when i got mine but am thinking about upgrading to dbb. i think it would cost me $750 to do. plus the 3 week (or 3 month) time to upgrade. may be worth it as i would like the quicker spool up time.

talk to mdc and jtamalius. hes got a bad ass JT61GT turbo in the works with the option of a bolt on with the better boss rear housing.... ive blown up more sp61gts than i can count due to a design flaw. im anxious to see how this new one is
