I am going to wait for your car to be done, then buy a beater and paint it with spray bombs to match your colour scheme. :D
Hahaha, that's what most people do...

You're an innovator, don't lower your standards for a few schmucks!!!

Now is time to find a different set that most people can't afford that way you won't be copied.

I'm getting CCWs for the red one!!! LOL

Hey, I already sold you a set of wheels.

Wait... I might be able to turn this into a valid income, and retire early!

Business Plan:
1. Remove nice wheels from Blue 2J car.
2. Sell them to Don
3. ...
4. Profit!

The wheels are already found, no finding involved..

;)

Well, couple of short updates... the HID installation is still in progress, I'm messing about with fiberglass for the rear of the housing at the moment, because I don't like the idea of having something that isn't at least water resistant. After the AEM meth pump debacle, can you blame me? :)

And, some more parts came in this morning - thanks Mark - so here's some photos of the new bits.

The boxes:

New tail lights. They even came with new seals! Time to sell my carefully hoarded replacements, I guess...

New bits for the targa roof, too. If you needed a set of these, forget it, I got the last set in dark grey. :D

Also picked up new seals for the sides of the targa. All these will go on as soon as it stops raining here!

Well, update time... new tail lights are in, roof is finally assembled and installed.

Went to the track last week, managed to get in a single pass before we got shut down by rain. Weak ass launch, too - nasty wheel hop in first and second. Ran a 13.29 ... at 117mph.

Still a pretty fast mph. I tried drag racing on street tires at 450hp once, and will never do it again. It just doesn't work! Duane's drag radials hooked up pretty well, I was able to run full boost in 1st gear.

What HID's are you running? I bought Acura TSX housings which I simply plan to seal up with silicone and add a vent tube for heat and air expansion. Many of the other ones had rather open housings, but the TSX were almost fully enclosed already.

Dammit... someone hit my car while I was in a restaurant eating dinner tonight. I had to pull the front fender back out by hand so I could drive home. I fully expect ICBC - our government run insurance corporation - to do their damndest to bend me over and rail me. What really pisses me off is that I deliberately parked away from anyone else... this guy had to WORK to hit my car.

FUCK.

At least they left a note. Good thing they didn't stick around, or I might be arguing for justifiable homicide in front of a judge.

All hail the Supra community coming together to help each other out in a time of need. Dave, good to see that your insurance will be covering the damages and that you will have your Supra back on the road quickly. Pics of the damage?
