I didn't know which O rings did it for you, so I got you a variety pack. You know we aim to please here at 1-900-sexy-oring..................:naughty:
That's my favorite kind.:evil2:
They look so new and unmolested. I'm going to frame that pic, and hang it next to my original Nate drawing. The composition is amazing, I especially love the tree at the bottom...

Jay Im proud to say that i got to see the car before this build! Cause I though it was amazing then! After we met, I told all of my friends about the guy who drove from alabama in a 400 hp supra to see me! I was so proud to be part of the MkIII community, nothin like it. I cant wait to see what this amazing machine can do that tops the legendary other one!

You are truely tha man!

^ I kinda felt the same way too, I think if Chris's clutch didn't give out at the dyno you would have been dethroned as the highest HP MKIII at the Louisville meet last fall ;).

Never bring a slipping clutch to a dyno.................just kidding Chris. I know he would have made close to 500rwhp if his clutch would have held, but I didn't drive all that way to be dyno queen. I just went up there to meet everyone. I would have loved to see him put down some good numbers. Now I'm more interested in getting mine running good so I can put down some good numbers. Two days now without any fuel in my oil and I am stoked.........I learned that word from Aaron while he was down here gracing bama with his presence...........:biglaugh:

I think I had an oring that was letting fuel get by the injector, but I don't know for a fact. Either way, it's not getting fuel in the block right now. It's idling good and the afr's are perfect. I haven't been able to check them under boost yet, cause I'm breaking in the clutch. My fuel pressure is at 33psi without vacuum..............lol

I'm almost positive that it's at 32psi now, but I'll check it when I go dyno again.

Josh, I'm still having to break my clutch in for another 300 miles before I can go tune it and dyno again. I"m hoping that by advancing my cam gears, that I pick up a little more power and hopefully bottom end power, but I'll be happy with the 419 if that's all it feels like making.

Don't wish that on us. Do you not realize what a bear he can be when he can't drive his car like a maniac :evil2: , and then there is the fact that he hates long road trips. Grumpy would be putting it lightly........;)

^^Sounds like I'll be coming to Chicago alone. Doesn't seem like anyone wants to go on a roadtrip with me. It's not that I blame her though. She's use to driving in that slow ass white car and can't handle the raw power of the 1jz................:biglaugh:

Josh, I am hoping for more power, but I will take whatever I can get. I'm just ready to start driving it like the maniac that I'm suppose to be.

I think I've got a valve rattling on the exhaust side. I'm going to try and look at it tomorrow morning and check the tolerances on it. I'll keep you posted...........lol

That's got to suck Josh. It's suppose to be seventy here today. I dont see how it can be such a drastic change, but I guess you live three thousand miles away, and alot can happen.

I'm hoping there's not alot of issues either, but my car has had a knocking or tapping sound ever since I got it cranked. It sounds like it's the exhaust cam. I'm going to recheck the clearance again when I get a minute. Ricky said we can gring the valve down a little if we have too. I don't know if that's the correct way to fix it or do I need to order a different shim for it? Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated..................Jay

jay, just swap out a shim if the clearance is too loose.if the shim was too tight, you would loose a little compression in that cylinder and maybe have a little poping out the exhaust.
you can wedge the lifter down and pull the shim out with a magnet,no need to pull the cam.actually it will probably take longer to take the valve cover off.:)

I checked it this evening and it is tight, but I can get a ten thousands feeler gauge in there. It's suppose to be between ten and twelve thousands I think. Either way, I went ahead and changed the cam gear to six degrees advanced instead of six degrees retarded. It's not tapping right now and I'm going to drive it to the golf course tomorrow. I'm hoping that I have a problem free drive to and from the course. I plan on having the top out and the wind rushing through my long blonde locks of shiny silky........wait never mind. I have short brown hair, but anyways, hopefully I don't break down..........lol
