I'm sure they have some effect on the oil pressure. Ian said his bottom end is on the loose side, mine is on the tight side and my machinist made some other adjustments to the oiling system as well. I'd probably have higher pressure than him if I'd blocked off the squirters. Decide if you are going to be needing them while you have the motor out (spending extended periods @ WOT/track sessions on a roadcourse?).
