I'll be taking one of my ARs with some decent hunting loads, my 30-30 and my 10mm.
I would actualy like to tag both the whitetails and the boar with my 10mm. But because wild boar are nasty fucks and I don't want to chance it I'm bringing the 30-30 just in case. Also, I don't see dropping a whitetail at 300 yards with my pistol, that's why the AR is going as well.
If all goes well I'd like to get at least one of each with the 10mikemike. The whitetail will most likely happen. It's my uncle's private property (~600 acres) and he set out abunch of gamecams and feeders. CRAWLING with whitetail.

wild....they've said that if the boar population isn't seriously controlled..that it will mostly likely creep into the southern va applachains and lowlands out by the beach...
