So, what amount of preload would my CT26 need to postpone the wastegate opening at 8 psi? That is when it creeps open now, despite my setting the boost controller to not open before 10 psi. I'm using a Blitz dual SBC. Thanks. Van

Could try a pair of 2mm washers Van and see what it does, (each engine/car combination is different) however it's a double edged sword as you get to the point where the bottom of boost is good but the top end will creep as preloading limits the amount of full open the flapper can achieve.

You'll find a midpoint that's OKish but still a compromise, this is where an EXT Gate plumbed correctly+ an EBC rules, I run a 3psi spring in a Tial V44 and have perfect boost control from 3>30psi as you're bleeding boost pressure into the Spring side to increase it's rate it'll never left the valve off it's seat.
