Planning on suspension upgrades to improve the stance a bit, but my TEMS has worked perfectly since new, the day I got the car back in 1989! So, I'm leaning towards the Eibach & Illumina II setup to keep the TEMS system with HKS controls intact.
The car actually did slightly better than 420rwhp on its best pull on this particular day. Ross or Clint at Dynosaur must have cleared that pull, but I have this one indicating 419rwhp. These numbers were before opening up the exhaust to the 3" system shown in the pictures and before upgrading the intercooler system from a small HKS intercooler to the Extreme Turbo Systems 4" race core intercooler system. Those two changes made a huge "seat of the pants" improvement, but I never got a chance to put it back on the dyno to see what the actual rwhp improvement was.
Today the car is undergoing a 2JZGTE swap. Still have a little ways to go, but we're making headway. Lower intake needs to be polished, etc, etc...
Sold the AEM Gen1 EMS that I was using on the 7MGTE and I am currently weighing the pro's & con's of the EMS 6860 and the Vipec system. The goal is to be 600rwhp+ range...that should make for a nice 20+ year old "Q-Ship" and for some surprised looks on race day. <grin>
