Sweet car Kyle.

Have you posted this pic before. I swear I've seen it but on another forum. Maybe not. I keep thinking I've seen this with a lot of other pics of a Corolla GTS. It's not all that recent either is it? Sorry I'm getting old. Are you on celica-gts.com too? I want to say that's where I've seen it.

Kyle: That car is geared for highway cruising so 16-18 mpg won't be unrealistic on the highway. City will suck. That big an engine is going to want Super Unleaded. Actually it wants Ethel but that ain't going to happen.

I'm gonna test that when I drive to JustAnotherVictums place this weekend, I'm sure its gonna shine!

That picture is hella old, Look at little Jeff!

I really need to find a compatible power steering fluid as well. Manual calls for AQ-ATF or GM automatic transmission fluid. I dont want to go toss full synthetic fluid in a 42 year old system, I'll go to my local auto parts place today.

And yes, I put 91 in the car constantly, I know of a place to get some 110 leaded gas.. But thats expensive.

LMAO. I thought that was Jeff with his son, but if I recall, it's him with his uncle.

Save up some $$$$ and drop a GM 700R4 tranny in it. I talked to a shop here locally a while back and he said a lot of people were doing that. If those old cars had lock up converters and overdrive, they'd get 20 mpg or better.

I can't figure out what he's doing in that last picture...

last time I saw someone do something like that in a car with a hood prop, they popped it off the hoodprop and got stuck...

Beautiful Caddy, I like it! Those cars had plenty of get up and go, but not so hot when stopping. At least that's what my experience was on my parents 62 Caddy.:-(
