just a quick pic of my progress, the engine bay. just put on powdercoated valvecovers, lower intake runners, and engine lift/alt bracket. the color matches my MKIV 17s.

Hey, thanks for the heads up. I thought the only issue with venting to atmosphere (other than the mess) was when using cheap mini cotton filters they would clog up, the engine couldn't breath, and then you would blow seals. That's why I went with s/steel mesh that won't clog(it's a fairly open mesh). It is a moot point anyway because I have a catch can set-up in the works. I just did not want to fill my new IC full of oil. I have had it on for a month or so now and the IC piping and T/B are still dry as a bone!
