It would be embarrasing knowing people who know better just point and laugh and the only "props" you get are from ignorant fools that don't know what they're looking at......

How about the added system volume or the fact that the pipes occlude the rad?

Hommer is not the first person to run his IC pipes over the radiator.

I don't understand why you didn't use a 1G style instead of

A) Butchering your hood
B) Adding like 9 extra fuggin feet of IC piping
C) Looking like a moron
D) All of the above

I can respect innovation, and trying different things, but please acknowledge that you just did it to be different and you don't seriously think it was worth it for performance.

Hommer, after looking at your pics, I will say you made decent looking side pipe(s), which is rare for a Supra. Your vents on the side of your bumper also look functional, which is a plus. The bit in the middle, I don't like and I don't think it would help in any big way.

the original opening feeds intercooler.. im going to make a splash pan that will force the lower middle opening's air up between the intercooler and rad... the left air duct under fog light opening will feed transmission cooler and the right one will feed the oil cooler and the allready remote oil filter... the side scoops on very outer will have incorperated in the splash pan ducts running to brakes... it will be a one peace unit that ducts all the air to the right place... and also help protect front lip which is rubber and can bend up with no problem but does not like going down to well..but does

i saw this car in person at the tx2k3 event and someone in the crowd appropriately named it "the shredder". the owner was very nice and upbeat but couldn't explain why he did this to his car. under the hood was very shiney with polished parts everywhere and colorful hoses iirc.

I could quote many of you, but there is just too many to list. Bringing Hommer's car into this is rude and insulting.

Although, this is an open forum, ridicule is expected. For being a community that is always motivated to be so open and accepting to new ideas and their results, it seems that if a person is not on the inside of a clique, their efforts are greeted with the prior behavior.

Seems like those who are asking for others to act their age, should act their age.
