I finaly got everything back together and drove it last weekend! it was so much fun cruising it up and down the beach! I do have a problem with a leaky carb, and my galley cover was leaking oil onto the back of the transmission. All my seals on the front of the engine and oil pan held up though so I was very happy with that. I took off the manifold last night, and working on getting the distributor loose.
I will be rebuilding the carb tonight, and hopefully i can get the distributer out as well.
I ordered a special powdercoating color from Eastwood so I will powdercoat my manifold, galley cover, air cleaner, coolent resivoir tank and probibly my valve covers as well while I'm at it.
the engine runs suprisingly well for not being driven for 3 years, with very little blowby and almost no smoke.
and ill have some photo's for you guys in a bit.

Well I took apart the top of the engine. Im replacing the galley cover gasket, intake manifold gaskets, and rebuilding the carb.
I just ordered two magnaflow stainless double wall 3 inch exhaust tips since I will be doing a center exhaust on this car, much like this
I'm also going to order the mufflers soon. 2 2.25 inch non polished magnaflow mufflers that will be in the same place as this photo. I need to order the mufflers soon so I can channel the trunk for clearence. I was going to save up for paint, but I'd rather have a good exhaust and have the car run well mechanicaly and then save up for a good paint job.
I'm having the bumpers powdercoated in a few weeks.
