so, i just istalled my new Cooleeze DP, Titan Motorsports Test Pipe, and Blitz Nur Spec Exhaust. couple problems... the Test Pipe sucks balls! it leaks at both ends and i think its because flages arent welded on. the pipe ends are flared out and the flanges are held in by the flares. and, i think the test pipe is too long. i know that the blitz exhaust wont fit right with California A70 but i figure i would replace the cat with a test pipe to solve that problem.

so, my question is, what test pipe fits well with the blitz exhaust with NO modifications? straight up bolt on. i hate the sound of exhaust leaks and it kills me knowing my exhaust isnt on right because of the test pipe. i need to correct this quick becuase i dont want to roll around like this for long.

Yep...it has hangers too. You can cut them off if you don't need or order with one side or the other. I cut the hanger off on the passenger side.

BIC will make you a test pipe which is a bit shorter than stock to compensate for the Blitz system slightly longer length. Flanges on the BIC test pipe are very thick and welded on - no leaks on mine.

This is what I have as well. When I ordered by DDP and test pipe from BIC, I just requested the slightly shorter test pipe to fit with the Blitz system.

I heard the cooleeze hangers don't line up right, at least that is what 2 people who left feedback said on horsepowerfreaks.com

i am still awaiting to put on my greddy exhaust, and i am too wondering what i should get for a test pipe, worried about the hangers, but i hear the cooleeze won't line up with the rubber hangers. I was thinking about the bic test pipe but don't know how long it will be when i put the whole exhaust on??

Nothing with a NUR spec will fit, its not the test pipe thats the problem; its the NUR Spec. Any test pipe thats 2 inches too short will work perfectly.

if it dosn't fit i'm sure you could at least get a pretty good sale price on a BIC test pipe on here to get some $$$ for a short one from randy. it's not like they break.....and a little surface rust means very little for that sorta part

good luck fitting it all together it will be a long time before i ever put exhaust back on my baby

:umno: I've got an NUR Spec w/ a cooleze test pipe. No fitment issues at all.

Then you are an anomoly. Most people will need a shorter test pipe.

LOL...and you base this on?

The only thing I had to do with my Blitz was bend a couple of the hangers on the rear of the pipe by the muffler. I just helped a friend of mine install a Blitz NUR and had to do the same thing...the test pipe he used was the same length as mine and fit perfect.

Edit: BTW...thanks for the good laugh. I love it when an 18 year old tells me I'm an anomoly based their extensive life experience and advanced education level.

I've got the cooleze downpipe and testpipe. Greg Pickett's flanges are a different shape than most exhaust system's so it may leak slightly where the down pipe is connected. As far as the test pipe goes, my hangers fit fine with no problems. Maybe these other ppl had the test pipe upside down, that's what was wrong with mine first ;). Easy fix.

So, it is too long, you just bent the hangers instead of letting it fall where its supposed to by using a shorter test pipe...

I based it on the many people who, before I bought mine, warned that it is too long and a shorter test pipe is the best way to fix it.

But, if being a pompous fuck is your prerogative, then I'll just leave it at that.
