Turbo magazine tested no cat versus stock Toyota cat on their competition exhaust. You can look up the old articles online. No cat versus stock was 6 whole horsepower. This was after getting rid of the cat downpipe.

Those that have been around the Supra internet community know how I feel about the smog nazis. Well, leave the cat on. There isn't a reason to take the main one off, unless you are competing professionally and trailer the car.

yeah, I'm not annoyed at someone not running a cat, but the marginal power increase (and NOISE increase) isn't worth it...

unless you just want to be cheap as the testpipe is cheaper than a high flow cat (and money is the root of all problems...)
