Ok guys, I saw it today atthe first showing here in Cape with my 9 yr old brother, he had ear tubes put in this morning but he got home and said he was up to going so we grabbed lunch and went to the theatre. I personally thought it was great, story developed well and the acting was solid all around, added a lot to the franchise in my opinion because you get to see a lot of what was only talked about, and in all honesty after 3 films the time traveling pre war "abortion" attempts started getting old.

It was nice to get to see the war finally, I think it woulda been neat to see a bit more combat with the machines, on the positive side of that however they did have a lot of new and old machines in the film and some excellent fights. Cast was solid and likeable too, stayed pretty realistic, or at least plausable which was nice.

If your a fan go see it, if you're not or you've not seen any of them it's still worth going you won't be lost.

I've been a fan of the franchise since I saw the first one when it was newly released on HBO. I couldn't have been but 5 or 6 years old at the time. Every movie has shown a little bit of what the war in the future would be like, and that has always been the part that really interested me. I hope the rest of the story fleshes out well. I liked the first and second ones alright. The third was good for filling the story and characters more. Many criticized it, and while it was my least favorite, the end was really exciting for me because I knew that what I wanted was finally coming next.
I will probably make an attempt to see this sometime this weekend.

Well I don't wanna spoil it but I guess it'll be ok, yes there is an "arnold" cameo, however it is a CGI job over a body builders body, looks very real though hard to see its CGI. Since arnolds a lil old the body and face are younger to be similar to the way he looked in the first film, it was neat to see, it ends up a good lil battle as well.

Just seen it and I thought it was pretty good. Since the cameo was already mentioned, I thought it was introduced and at he same time integrated at the perfect time!

I have the same feelings as you Will with regards to the regular machine/human combat. I'm not going to say much more as I don't want to spoil the movie. It is worth going to see.

Just got back from seeing it. I wasn't impressed. I'm gonna have to say the best parts in the movie were the T2 references, but other than that it gets a half a "meh".

For fuck's sake, I hate christian Bale even more now, which i didn't think was possible.

Word, Mandy and I where thrilled to hear Guns N Roses and it refrencing T2, oh yeah and the Sarah Connor tapes.

It was a very excellent movie! I cannot wait for the next two movies to come next, and I enjoyed the Marcus story.

hell yes... hearing the guns n roses ' you could be mine' jam actually gave me a big grin, it's a shame they used it RIGHT after another T2 reference, made it seem like they were trying way to hard which killed it a bit for me.

epic movie potential lost...

Just got back from seeing it. I thought it was good, not great, but good. I really liked the Marcus Wright character, thought he was the bright spot in the movie.

Is it worth me plunking $8 on? ;)

Well that depends.

1. Did you like Wolverine?

2. Did you like star trek?

or have you not seen either?

I liked it alot better than wolverine but not as much as Star Trek. I thought it was well worth the price of admission. (i'm kinda a sci-fi dork)

I liked Star Trek, and I fucking LOVED Ryan Reynolds as Deadpool. Wolverine was good until the last half hour, imho.

That said, seen 'em both. T2 is still rated in my top 5 favorite movies ;)
