No, its not that its bad, its that its frustrating. But i know from experience that when its all done (or so you think) it pays off ten fold. Reaping the rewards of hard work and dedication for a car you absolutely love is True Joy.

Like a government.

I have been owned by these rules since I have owned my supra. BTW, it needs one more. Once you modify one thing, everything else must be modified or you will never be happy.

That's why I love cars, atleast with enough money it will work eventually....Women on the other hand, the more money you throw at them the less they are motivated to work..

add to number 8 that if it's really close to arriving on a thurs or fri. dont count on it till mon... so many times this has happened..

#6 I hate the spending 10x the worth of the car :nono:

I would gladly dump way more then these cars are "worth" into them, instead of paying $20k+ for some new piece of shit w/no style or class

It's true so many of the newer cars are lacking in exterior shape and style. Not all but most. The interiors on these new cars are horrible. The materials, design, durability, and comfort are not near the quality they should be for the money you pay. You have to buy a 30k+ car before you start to see something desireable it seems.

#1 could have this variation, at least for large/custom builds: Estimate a hypothetical build cost, then double it, just to so you don't shit yourself when the final cost is realized. Then double this doubled cost, and you will have your approximate final cost!:aigo: Also, apply this same rule to the estimated time required. (These rules owned me!)

You could also add a #11: Be prepared to play "Problem Whack-a-Mole". As soon as you fix one problem, another one pops right up. This process continues without end.
