Ok so i have this wierd issue ill do my best to describe. When the brake pedal is applied firmly above 37mph the tems functions as it should and puts it in full firm mode. However on my way home today after stopping at a friends house. When i started to slow down the tems went to full firm and never went back to normal. I put my foot behind the brake pedal while doing 65 and pulled on the brake pedal. It put it back to normal so long as i had my foot holding the pedal. As soon as i released it the shocks went back into full firm.

Anyone have any idea as to whats up. Im about to go reset the ECU and see if that fixes the problem. Advice would be appreciated.

Thank you for helping!

Brake pedal switch, your lights are probably staying on too if that's the case

That actually sounds exactly like my problem except my brake lights dont stay on. Im uploading a video just to show you exactly whats going on.

Ive skimmed through the TSRM but i dont know exactly what im looking for would anyone happen to know or have an illustration so i can fix this problem.

I think it might use the cruise control release switch which is seperate from the brake light switch...

Speaking of cruise control it doesnt work when its in full firm.

Heres a video showing whats going on

Small update just went out to grab some Pie at the store. I noticed the times when i stated it wouild go back into full firm. Well i took notice that when driving around when its in Normal or Sport mode it would go into full firm as soon as i got above 37mph. Its almost as if my system is working backwards. Does anyone have any idea?

How can you think it's working backwards when you correctly described how it works in the first post? ;)

The cruise control switch can't be involved and resetting the engine ECU isn't going to do squat. All three pieces of evidence point to what Poodles said. Why your stop lights aren't on is the real mystery...
