Hello all. Like title states, I did a USDM 7mgte to a JDM 7mgte swap. EGR delete. Now my temp gauge and heat does not work. Changed the temp sensors with no success. Any ideas? One of the wires is pinched and may have lost resistance. Could that be the causing both my temp gauge and heat not to work? Any input would be greatly appreciated. It's the season to use the heater! Girlfriend doesn't like the cold as much as my turbo does. Thanks. ;)

Heater check the vsv and the valve on the firewall. With heat on the arm should be up. If its not apply vacuum(with engine running) straight to the valve and bypass the vsv. If the arm still doesnt go up then manually move it up and zip tie it or replace it.

Zip tie did the job! Car now has heat. I am still stuck on the temp gauge. Still does not work even after repairing the pinched wire. Is it possible that the actual plug on the harness is defective? Or would replacing my cluster be my next bet? Also, is there a direct line straight from the cluster temp gauge to the temp sensor? Thanks.

Did you test the gauge like it says in the tsrm? And did you test the sensor? And have you tried just bypassing the harness to see if that's the problem?
