Ok so i'm driving back home from the Carlisle P.A Import car show and on Interstate 81.I stomp on the gas or i would push the E.C.T button and the temp arm would quickly rise to the top of the 'H' level.I'd push the button again to switch it off or let off on the gas and the temp arm would quickly go to the middle range.A budy told me it could be a electrical prob due to the rest of the 40 miles driving on the interstate and stoping and going in town would be in normal temp range.anybody have this prob or know what it could be.:aigo::aigo::aigo::aigo:

If you guys are not responding because you think i have a blown headgasket then you all are wrong.I step on the gas all the way and it goes up,But when i let go of the gas it goes down to normal range.I can speed and floor it but just can't floor it to the max.I guess i'm the only one that has ever had this problem.

I ran it through "IdiotTrans v2.0a" and still couldn't understand it ;)

You need Pro, the freeware is hit or miss.;)

BHG denial

Translation:

When I go WOT or use the Auto trans control the OEM temp gauge goes into the red. If I let off the throttle and/or hit the trans button again it returns to normal OP temp (according to the highly inaccurate factory gauge). I don't think I have BHG, I think I have an electronics malfunction, according to that guy I know.

funny, read it and understood what he is asking although he didn't out right ask a question...

Now I'm normally known as a giant bag of douche, asshole, longhairedmuffdivingcrabcrawlingassholeplunkofuckstick...or whatever but damn guys this seems like something that's very hard to figure out...so instead of being so anal as to how he post why don't you just try and help him???

Personally this issue would stress me out big as I'm like a retard trying to hump a doorknob when it's electrical!

GV, you must be going soft on us. ;)

I'll tell you why I didn't try to help beyond pointing him towards the tips on how to get your questions answered.

It's really simple, actually. I just don't think it's worth the time.

His spelling, punctuation, and general English is atrocious. Sure, I can figure it out, but there are plenty of people asking interesting questions that actually put in the effort up front.

He's making assumptions about the cause without showing any reasoning or proof. He hasn't explained what has already been checked, and how. He doesn't mention searching at all, you know, the "I searched for these terms, and read the threads found, but nothing seems to match my symptoms."

To top that, he's posted in one of the slower areas of the forum, which is obvious when you look at the date on the threads listed, and gotten impatient when three days didn't net him anything.

Too be brutally honest, he was lucky I posted at all, I damn near clicked back and ignored it.
