I recently upgraded my suspension so i have no need for my old tein ha's... They appear to be in good shape except the front right strut is blown. They came with the car so i have no idea how used they are. If its possbile to rebuild them i would recommend it. So with that being said, what would be a fair asking price for them?

If the front is blown 300-400 probably.. Itll cost like 50-100 a corner to get the shocks rebuild iirc.. Also tein HAs use the stock Hats, so are similar to tein SS's new @ ~950 or so.. so even 400+400 for rebuilt shocks is cheaper then new ss's.. should be able to sell them then I'd say..

I don't plan on selling them on this forum. Im just inquiring as to what they are worth.. There seems to be a pretty knowledgeable group of people here. Doesn't hurt to ask... Anywayz 200-300 sound fair? will get pics tomorrow. Maybe that will help gauge usage?!

200-300 is a steal. So far I've only seen 1 set of Tein HAs with stock mounts, ALL others (including mine) came with pillow ball mounts. If only 1 is blown I'd sell them for a bit more assuming condition (not rusty, pillow mounts etc.)

Rebuilding them is $80 a corner from Tein USA themselves. That is the main reason why I went with Tein vs any other company ... their rebuild price is cheap!

got a few pics.. Maybe these will help evaluate what there worth? I tried to depress each strut by putting all my body weight on them but they wont budge.... If a strut was wouldn't it be easy to depress the dampener? There definitely not seized though. All the bushings are in the same condition as the one pictured.

pics don't work.

You won't be able to compress the piston with them still assembled in the spring, they're meant to support a supra! ;)
