MY GOD that's really...really messed up.....
I noticed how horrible little kids are getting. its not just parental neglect, but also the current media. its getting worse and worse... progressively, kids learn to act older than they really are. and thats not to say they are respectful. I was appalled when i left my middle school, and came back to visit in high school and heard little kids talking about all kinds of crazy shit and cussing up a storm, more than highschool losers.
not to mention all the highschoolers getting pregnant, sometimes numerous times, and kids going out and abusing drugs and alcohol on a regular basis....

but seriously, the kid prostitution is tragic. Whats more tragic is that even people with some morals aren't willing to stop stuff like this from happening if they have to go out of their way...

I think somewhere between my parent's generation, and mine, someone took a hard left turn when it came to raising children. I would have gotten my ass blistered if I ever got caught throwing rocks at windows and busting stuff in the street. I live with a 2-year old (not mine, she's my god-daughter/niece), and she knows Aunt Laura won't let her get away with being a shitty little brat like a lot of kids are. I know most people my age who are parents don't know how to say no, but I know at least myself, and my close friends will have well-behaved, respectful children.

Yes, but even as bored as I got out in the middle of the Ocala National Forest, I NEVER would have come up with something in this...I knew, even then, that it was wrong.
I'm not saying it's completely the parent's fault - but they are not free of blame in this. To me, this whole incident screams of parents who never bothered to instill a measure of moral fiber into their children.
And for that matter....what the hell were the parents thinking, letting a 13 year old girl go into a nightclub anyway??

im pretty sure they didnt know. I know a lot of parent who want to believe that their children are little angels. I mean i know 14-16yr olds that get into nightclubs in my city. You just have to know people and have connections its the same with getting drugs or weapons off the street anyone can do it just gotta know how.
