You can make anything work with anything if you want to put enough time/money/effort into it, but I have to ask WHY? If you're trying to "save money" the TEC3 is not the ECU for you.
Which TEC3 do you have? The TEC3, TEC3 6/12, or the new TEC3r? If you've got either of the latter two, why would you bother with waste spark when you can drive individual coils for each cylinder?
The TEC3 DFU's are plug and play, are impedance matched to the TEC3 and are really what make the TEC3 worth owning. It's one of the most precise (and tunable) ignition systems out there.
You're still going to have to use all GM sensors even if you try to drive 7M coil packs.
What are you going to use for a crank trigger?
