Update: I was approved for the loan and the check will be here tomorrow and it'll be mine tomorrow night. I took some pics of it during lunch and will upload them in a couple of hours.

PS. It might get some new shoes tomorrow as well. I bought some for my supra, but I might put them on the IS300 instead. I have them in hand. No teaser pic of them though :biglaugh: . Oh, the suspense.

Well guys, here it is. It isn't clean because I told him I would detail it to my standards. Also, hopefully the new shoes will fit nice.

Also, what do you think of the tail light covers? Not sure how I feel about them. He also has some eyelids painted to match.

Id like to see the eyelids on there.

As far as the taillights do a night shot to compare with the lens and one without for final conclusion

I think it looks good, but I just keep wondering what your car would look like with 13000.00 put into it. Who spends that much money when all they needed was an alternator................:biglaugh:

he needed a DD too, as I think he said he was planning on doing more than an alternator.

and the tail light cover make it look too much like an R33... one of my least favorite Japanese cars... so be rid of them.

congrats though. It'll get you women.

Thanks for the comments guys. Like I said, it need it for a good reliable DD. I just couldn't find myself getting a "beater". I love cars and have to be happy with one to drive it. Looks like I'll be taking off the tailight covers though. I wasn't that big of a fan anyway.

Anyways, do you think it would look better with these. I bought them for the supra, but I'm going to see if they will work on the Lexus. They are Volk GTN's 18x8 and 18x9 with Nitto 555's 235/40 and 265/35. I'm sure I'll have pics tomorrow of them on hopefully. BTW, I got them for $900 with tires. SMOKIN DEAL!!! I sold my MKIV tt wheels for $700 with tires to my neighbor. So, I only had to come out of pocket $200.
