Here's a really good tip on installing the Targa Seals. I put all new seals on my car, and sure enough they still leaked, so I took it all back apart and studied it all and this is what I discovered. The problem is water gets in behind the Drip Rails (10) and fills up the interior trim piece. When you turn a corner the trim piece empties out usually in your lap or window switches. To fix it is pretty easy though. When you install the new ones make sure and caulk really good between the Drip Rails (10) and Targa panel (1) with black RTV. The front and rear seals rarely leak, it's always this problem.

Is it possible that one side is dripping inside the trim but the water is getting in the interior from the front passenger side (right above the passenger head).?

because mine is leaking on the spot, driver window (the trim you described) and
infront of the passenger (front)

Exactly what he's talking about. From the factory, there are adhesive strips on the drip rails, but they eventually dry out and fail. You either reseal with sealant or you buy new drip rails ($$$)

You can buy the same adhesive from body shop suppliers and napa. I bought a roll at autozone. Its 3m I think. It was 12 or 15 foot roll. Price was cheap compared to going to body supply.

This is the same stuff used to seal the rear quarter glass in.

Just make sure the outside channel that actually holds the seal is clean. My seals (sides) were glued in. Trying to get all the glue/ seal out proved almost impossible.
