Lets say your driving with the targa off. Do you guys put your top back on after you park or do you leave it in the trunk? If you leave it off are you afraid of someone opening your hood or trunk and stealing suff? I just got my mk3 recently and was curious on what you guys do.

It really depends on where im at most the time if im in a good neighboor hood id leave it off and in my trunk but sometimes I just plop it on with out bolting it.

i usually just plop it on and roll the windows up and arm the security system if im just running inside a store, otherwise its bolted on
Depends on the area and the duration of my stay somewhere.....usually if it's less than 30 minutes, i'll leave it off with the windows up and the security on..
Where i am i can leave it off mostly all the time except at night or when i think it just might happen to rain that day
geez. i wouldn't leave mine off if i was going into a store or friends house..

but where i leave it can be sunny and you go inside and come back out and it's raining... good old rainy state washington! it's rain for like 33 days strait just about the news is all over that! lol i guess not alot happens in this area...

if you leave it of over night,you might run into the occasional curious cat that will have no problem "marking" his new teritory.in the summer,it's top on,bolts undone and alarm on!!

I named her Tiffany, because I don't know this car like reminds me of like a totally 80's valley girl car, and thats like the most 80's girl name I could think of...my other Supra is "Kelli" (Non-Turbo) Tiffany is much more mature and refined...lol
I leave mine off all the time, if it's off I rarely put it back on. Unless I'm going to be in somewhere for a long time and then I only do up the front two bolts.
to arm,close both doors with the windows up,lock it from the inside using the manual lock button,then as you close the door,lift up on the handle,the "security" light will blink after 30 seconds or something like that
All I do is lock the doors and shut them, and the security light comes on. Maybe it is dependent upon year? [Mine is '91]

leave it off if you have an alarm(aftermarket) or if your parking it in the garage i would leave it off all other situations i would put it on and start the front bolts then when you go back out just loosen them back up and take it back off.. fully bolting it down and off just for running inside a store or to eat can get annoying..
