My car has the super medalion racing and it sounds great. It is not too loud without the silencer but with it in its almost like a whisper ( im used to driving a nova with turn downs under the back seat).

Where did you get a silencer at? I've never seen one for the Tanabe before.

Believe me you do not need a silencer for this exhaust , it sounds and looks ths best for a MKIII

I dont have the Hyper I have the racing it is a big canister style. Mine is a 3.5 form a 2jz that was made to fit my car.

There was a thread on SF that pointed out a few 3" cat-backs that taper to about 2.75 inside the muffler. I believe the Tanabe and HKS were mentioned.

Where did you get a silencer at? I've never seen one for the Tanabe before.

Hes talking about the resonator that comes with the Tanabe. The system consists of mandrel bent pipes, a resonator and the muffler with tip. I probably would never take of the resonator off because it sounds great by itself, but then again im running catless.
