Tanabe Hyper vs touring medallion?

is there that noticeable of a difference between the two to justify the difference in cost? will be in the market shortly for a quieter, more stockish looking 3" on a side note, as my exhaust leak gets worse, it's actually sounding better. go figure

Umm i hear the touring is quieter and that the Hyper is now discontinued. They look quite similar but i havent seen the Touring Medallion on any Supra yet. So most of us dont know.

Heres mine if you want to hear. HKS DP, BIC Test Pipe, and Tanabe SHM

the main difference semms to be the exhaust tip.
i have the hyper, while my buddy has the touring, and that's all i could notice.

touring is the replacement for the hyper...

so if you can find the hyper still being sold (in the sub $500 price range), there is really no reason to get the touring (which is closer to $700) ?
