I'm no expert, but I'm willing to help if it doesn't sound horribly complicated. What are your symptoms? I have friends in Spring Hill, so I could use this as an excuse to visit.

Ok, the car will be back in wesley chapel in about an hour. I had no other choice.

The issue is this.

I recently had my engine converted into a turbo with a w58 5speed.

The car was an 89 na with automatic tranny and greyplug harness.

The car is wired like an 88 though so i had to use a yellow plug ecu/harness from a turbo 88. here is the issue.

the ecu is not getting power.
The headlights stay on.
the car had a rigged push button starter (straight to the battery to the starter)

any ideas? since we thought initially the 88 ecu/harness was defective we switched the na harness and ecu back in but now those are not working.
the mechanic claims the ecu and fuel pump are not getting power.

(i am not working on the car i am simply relaying what the mechanic told me)

thanks in advance.

also the car needs a clutch line and the pcv hoses ran. other than that its ready to roll.
