t51r turbo.anyone knows about it?

im looking at this turbo for my new 7m.

T51R is plain bearing
Exhaust AR is 0.90
Intake is 0.72
Rating is 700ps (close to 650+hp)

Now will this be a lag monster? ( I have a feeling it will be.)
Anyone knows of a 7m with one on there and if so how isit?
i'm looking for 400hp at the wheels from my new motor and this will be installed after ive taken my hiflo (not sure on the specs) to the limit.I like to do the 100kph-200kph type runs.not into standing quaters.
Is the exh AR too big?
and is the intake AR to too big/small?

Not the most knowledgable person regarding turbos (AR's, t3/4 etc etc is all mumbojumbo to me until i can see with my hands) so any insight/help comments will be kindly regarded.
I wont be making any purchases for a few more months.I have to do more research/learning still.

i know a guy that made 802 awhp with a T51R on his evo, he was pushing 40-42psi on a stock displacement motor, it was pretty laggy on his and his was the ball bearing version, so i dont know how bad itd be with that one

Lagg is a personal preferance, some people consider boost at 3500 not to be laggy but for me if I'm not seeing boost by 2200 its laggy. That is a pretty big A/R IMHO that would be laggy if your only after 400 why go for such a big turbo?? You should by the turbo to fit the job not over turbo it an then run less boost or thats the way I see it.

That turbo is a upgrade once ive finnished my motor.I saw a series 7-8 rx7 in a "High Octane" dvd with a t51r and the accelleration after 80kph to 250kph+ was amazing.
Im quite happy to have boost from 3000-3500rpm+

Would this happen to be the HKS T51R KAI turbo? If so, I've seen the mk4 guys using it more than the mk3 guys. It sure looks like sex tho.

I had a turbo with a 70 a/r intake and 89 a/r exhaust and it was rather laggy didn;t start making boost untill 3800 or so, but second gear was fun!
