T4 turbo install question

Sooo i got myself a brand new T3/T4 turbo from my mate for free brand new never used he got it for his lude and then lost the lude so gave me the turbo. i'm a lucky person i know.

but the question. what will i need to run the turbo on my car and for decent numbers
can i use stock IC or will i need upgrade

just a parts list really. my car at the mo has hks hg with arp bolts 3" turbo back exhaust and a filter pluss boost controller

what will i need to use the turbo on my car my list so far that i think u can take things off the list or add things

New exhaust mani (ideas on brand and where from)
wastegate (brand)
there is more i just forgot haha

Fuel and more fuel, injectors, new fuel pump, AFPR. and yes an intercooler would be a good idea. exhaust mani's were a big concern of mine and they can range in price and get very expensive, all depends on how much your willing to spend, i my self spent $60 and got a Ct-T4 adaptor that bolts up to the stock maniforl and flange for an external waste gate. i am running an HKS standard wastgate with no problems. youll also need some sort of fuel managment system to handle the added air.
what kind of numbers are you looking to make

Saying that its a t3/t4 turbo doesnt really mean anything. What size is it?

^ Yep there are 100's of T4's some smaller than the CT some HUGE

mate just sent me this .50/.63Turbine/.57trim haha as u can see i'm new to turbo's sorry for my noobness.

got A/R.50 on the turbo though if that means anything.

any idea what the turbo is capable off i was told around 400+hp but unsure its fairly big though. hmmm.. i have a pic

my friend is thinking of selling me his old T3/T4 turbo, i dont know the specs off hand, i'll ask him tonight. he only ran it for a couple weeks and didn't boost over 7 lbs. it's tempting, but i have other things on my mind right now.

if i knew how to find out the wheel size i would find out as i say turbo noob. always had n/a cars up untill now.

LOL you need to pull the covers off and measure the Inducer and Exducer sizes (inducer = small end of the wheel you can see looking in the front exducer = big end you can't see)


(you can have a 100mmOD 50 trim and a 50mmOD 50 trim the 100mm will flow more)
