T4 or T3 flange???

I'm just looking around for turbos and just thought whats the best exhaust flange for a turbo for a 7m? I know the T3 will spool quicker then theT4 but in all cases the T4 gives a decent more power to play with.....

Whats everyone running? Hows the lag usually on say a T4/T67 compaired to a T3/T67???? Im just using this turbo as an example..

Kenn: The GT series comes in T3 and T4 flanged units that are identical the only difference being the physical dimension of the flange.

The nozzles are the same size and this is what the AR measurement is based on so it becomes a matter of which header/manifold you have to which Turbo you get!

If you're talking about actual T3 and T4 Turbo's there are so many wheels and housings available to mix and match you could spec either to work well on a 7M.

I've seen this issue pop up a few times and I hope this helps some.

yes it did thank you.... Yeah thats been just bugging me for awhile but I thought there was an actually a difference where the exhaust housing (not a/r ratio) was larger on the T4 then the T3, causing more spool time/ more lag with larger flange size.. Sorry I dont have enough turbo experience so I hope this makes sence.
