If I were you i would definetly not go cheap on the rod bearings or pistons. Ohh and if your rebuilding your engine then you going to need to get yourself a new Toyota oil pump. You will need the oiling lines, and a manifold to bolt it too. Bigger injectors, NOT VENOM INJECTORS!!!!!!!!! Ohh and a nice headgasket. Search.

i wont be using the oil pump or the water pump will be going buy oem but i really dont have much on this rebuild so i cant be spending close to 1g on just piston and rods i read a post here someone was using these piston and he said it was pretty much oem quality ? will prolly just the piston + bearings + washers. bad idea? what do you guys think?

Well if you cant afford new pistons atleast get new rod and main bearings, clevite 77's preferably, they are cheap and definetly worth it. And obviously have the whole engine inspected by a machinist prior to rebuild just so he can give you a better idea on what kind if any machining should be done.

It's hard to come by genuine clevite 77's, as stated in many other threads. A lot of people are reboxing cheaper bearings in clevite boxes. ACL's have a good rep as far as I have heard, I'm using ACL's in my build right now.

In the immortal words of IJ - Clevites arent really clevites, they're rebadged NDC's, so buy them. They're the same thing, but NDC badged ones cost less. For my rebuild, I bought ACL bearings - they look okay and they seem to be rated fairly well.

Also - dude, just concentrate on getting your engine RUNNING first before going for a big power. To run a T4, you'll need piggyback fuelling - like an APEXi SAFC II, Lexus AFM, 550cc injectors - its MORE stuff that you need, meaning more $$ you have to spend out on.

Also - check the flange on the Turbo - what car is it off, or is it a universal one? Will it just bolt up to a T4 Supra Manifold, or will it need to be fettled first? Has it got any shaft play?

For your rebuild - those OEM pistons will be fine for 350hp or so. Higher than that and yeah, you'll want forged items and you'll have to have your rods shotpeened at the very least. 350hp is attainable on the CT26 - you just have to push a lot of boost, or alternatively, instead of spending out on a T4 - why not just send your turbo off to driftmotion or MDC (on these forums) and have your existing turbo rebuilt to a 50 or 57 trim spec? Cheap enough and reliable enough for those levels of power.

Dont forget, get your crank POLISHED - i cant stress how important that is - dont just swap out knacked bearings with good ones if your crank is scratched to buggery. It's cheap to do and you'll be avoiding a load of grief in the long run.
