im in the process of changing injectors, they were hard to remove, and now i can't get the new ones in all they way, i can't even get the stock ones back in now! i pushed them in as far as i could with my hands, then tightened down the retainer plate, but the plate is bending. i've made sure that there were no o-rings stuck down in there too, anyone else have this problem??

Yes side feed for the stock fuel rail and use some petrolatum on the o rings so they slide in easier and make sure there aren't any o rings that came off the tips of the stock injectors and are in the manifold or any in the rail itself.

Try buying it a few drinks and spit on it? :naughty:

Seriously though, you probably have something still in the way... do all 6 ports look the same?
