ok everyone i own an 89 n/a that just blew the hg at 160k so I picked up a 92 7mgte off a friend that had low miles but went through a flood. I picked it up for 50 bucks. didnt come with an ecu or intercooler and its mssing a lot of wiring. I bought an acl bearing set and a complete gasket set with rings and i have a twin port ct26 off a 2nd gen 3s that I have been runnng on my 3s powered 85 celica. my question mainly is if this is a coil pack motor is it plug and play with my harness? also without the turbo ecu will i have problems? everything else looks self explanatory. any info or suggestons would be greatly appreciated. thanks

i would ditch the 89 for the 92, as the 92 is a much more valued car.
and you cant run a supra without an ecu...
and n/a are distributor and the turbos are coil pack, so no plug and play... just swap wire harnesses. and somebody should have an ECU for an 89+ turbo car. same with the intercooler. and you could just buy a new engine harness from like champion toyota, i know somebody here has his number.

and i dont know about the twin port ct-26, but i know the oem turbo isnt a twin port....

ok so if i was to use the distributor out of my n/a and coil w/ ignitor and run my n/a ecu with the 7mgte long block will everything work? i wouldn't imagine the lower compression and higher flow injectors would be a problem with the n/a ecu. any opinions? i would just get a diff harness and ecu but i'm on a budget and need to get it running
