swap question!!

so i have a 89 non turbo cali edition and i bought a 89 turbo motor and manual trans but the mount on the transmition looks like its farther back on the trani and the non turbo trani, will this still bolt up in my car?

i would do a little measuring. i really would think it should bolt up though

Its should be the same

The metal wing mount is different between turbo and n.a mt trans. The rubber mount is the same. Use the turbo trans mount.

Non-turbos used the W58 trans, Turbos had the R154.

you'll also need the front half of the R154 drive-shaft and the tranny cross-member...

mounts are the same, only getting 1 part number. difference seems to be the crossmember itself. most of the time the crossmembers are left on the tranny when sold. if its missing gonna have to find one from a a junk yard or post in parts wanted on here.

when i did my auto to 5spd swap the crossmember was left attached to the tranny.
