New 88 Project:

Guys,

I will change a damage ECU and engine harness of one friend 88 supra, to a good and working 90 ECU and engine harness.

I have all engine sensors, harness and ecu.

What I need to perform this swap?

Do I need to modify power and ground supply?

Thanks and regards

from what i understand what ur trying to do is very compicated since the car harness will not match up with the new 90 engine harness

youd be alot better off trying to trade someone the harness and ecu for the other one. there are alot of differences between the 2 and your gonna have a real bear of a time.

the body plugs and motor plugs wont be the same so it wont fit is the long and short of it.

I wouldn't put an 89+ Harness on a Pre 89 Engine. I personally have done the entire motor swap from 88 to 89 and there should only be a few problems. The Alarm will not work, one of the pins is in the wrong place on the 89 and doesnt match up to the 88 body harness. And if you're not swapping over to an 89+ Engine, then ur boned man. Get an 87-88 harness.
