im so piss right now i hope someone can help me!

on my 88t Supra with stock supsension the rear driver side has this rattelling noise when im driving and it get's worst when im doing 30-50mph:3d_frown:

i look at the TSRM online:icon_bigg_________________________________________

There's 3 bolts and the big one in the middle which is called the ''suspension support nut'' which is bolted down on the ''piston rod''

Is there supposed to be a washer or something under that NUT?
I cant get that "Suspension Nut" to come off... The Whole Entire Piston ROD spins and not the Nut what does that mean? when Push down on the car i can tell the " NUT'' is hit the Support Hole" which equals a Rattleing Noise
WHAT DO I DO GUY?:nono:

Yes, there is a spacer that goes under the nut. Same thing happened to me, couldn't get the nut off. Had to find a way to hold the chrome shaft thru the spring and high up enough so that spot wouldn't enter the shock when fully compressed and slowly remove the nut. Must be the correct spacer though. Rear struts only. If you gall up the piston rod too much, it'll have to be cut. Good luck.

You want to make sure that you slightly loosen it while on the car, but DO NOT totally remove the nut until you have the spring compressors in place. Seriously... damage your car and may hurt yourself or someone else very bad.

No, there isn't supposed to be a spacer under the nut on the shock...

Yes you'll need a realignment after getting springs, but you may have to do it a few times as they settle.

if you have stock struts in your car, and your gonna put some lowering springs, dont expect them to last for very long. get some tokico hp blues or something... there only $200 for all 4.
