so i figure i'd clean up my thread and post all the pics in one hit :)

and then it blew a hg from crappy made hg's and found i had crankwalk so it then underwent...........

Just finished assembling the bottom end, all torqued ready to go


All lubed up so no rusty cancer starts :)


Sanding the car back to original primer ready for new gold pearl yellow paint


New Zeitronix Wideband


New ARP Head Studs bought from competitionwarehouse on ebay


have now changed the turbo to a different one you'll see later but this is what i got at the time


same with the wastegate

head & block together with arps... not yet torqued


i've installed the manifold temporarily... (3 DAYS TO SHIP HERE :aigo: awesome) looks real good... and no oil filter housing issues ;)

ignore #2 timing cover & crank pulley.. they are just for timing purposes ;)

temporary install to see what she'll look like :D


so pretty yellow calipers are gonna look hot! behind my hyper black wheels


and i put my shiny thermostat housing and could resist another pic of my engine lol

finally got the engine bay painted woohooo
where the really shiny/whitish parts are on the curves is actually the gold pearl :D

finally my car is yellow with gold pearl :D
the pics don't show the true yellow, but i'll get pics with my other camera so you can see it for what it really is but i'm really happy now ;)
still gotta do doors, guards, roof, rear bumper, mirrors, mudflaps & headlight covers and i'm all set woohooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!


well here's the latest fitment to my engine anywayz :D
At the time I had the 1uz tb connected directly but I had clearance issues with the bonnet and throttle so I made an extension housing of sorts to move it forward later on






so... i finally decided to pull my dash and paint it to match the rest of my panels :D and paint the silly bar that always rusts and feels like a blackboard being scratched when you accidentally touch it when pulling the ecu lol
cept one small hiccup.... when i bolted the dash all back in... i forgot "one" of the little heater vents to put in behind the dash :( oh well, practice makes perfect huh lol

so have yet to get pics of the turbo and my engine recompleted with repolished covers (buffing compound ruined em :()

Got my intake manifold machined flat today and have temporarily bolted it up

Currently organising new turbo flanges and oil lines & fittings for the aeromotive fpr & turbo
Get the exhaust work done (new 3" dp and wastegate dump)

Get new intercooler hardpipes made to fit the new intake and to increase piping to 3" to fit the 1UZ Throttle body

Upgraded my oil cooler to one twice the size of stock and installed new OBX Oil Temp gauge & boost gauge

Reassembled dash (again!!) once putting in the forgotten vent lol

Dismantling rear interior to install some good tems shocks, mine are naffed

Gotta replace one of my engine mounts as the thread seems to be munched

Blow out my fuel lines from various things that may have made its way in there lol

do the 12V mod to the walbro

and as of right now i really can't think of anything else haha :)

Looking very good Suze! I painted my dash bar as well because I know the exact feeling of grossness lol
also i hate rust.

whats bolting up behind the engine?? and how hard is it to keep it from breaking?

hehe thanks ya'll.... well after mr. miagi's comments i thought i'd clean up my fan... looks brand new now :D


in the meantime i've just been adding a few bits to the engine like the vacuum line for the power steering, installing the ignitor bracket (even painted it black just for you miagi :p, would like you to think you had a part of my car haha)
i made a fuse box cover as well... coz my intercooler piping is now going to go in front of the fusebox under the headlight so i had to hide all the wiring just to tidy it up some :)
Battery cables are no longer there, was a temporary power measure hehe




gotta make the extension pipe for my throttle body so i can move it (no more hitting bonnet issues or fuel rail clearance etc)

also battery relocation is now complete just need to get a battery box
(Was going to get a jaz box but ended up getting the $20 el cheapo)

so things are slowly coming together :D
