Meh, I've driven a S/C 3.4 Taco, 4.0 FJ cruiser, and a 5.7 Sequoia. Before and after; none felt 'faster' they just got up and moved more quickly. More get-up-and-go if you would.
Comparing them to a Supra wouldn't be a fair comparison because of the way the power is delivered. The Superchargers feel powerful/torquey right away, where the turbo feels like its not even there until you feel it hit/kick in. IMO, all of the 4wd S/C trucks would leave a Supra in the dust, transitioning into a game of catch-up on the Supra's part. Some people will always think a V engine is better, for whatever reasons, there are tradeoffs in every situation.
I say kudos for the unique-ness of the swap, but I'd really like to see if it was worthwhile (track/drag/whatever)
