Are each of these injectors flow tested to show that they flow the expected 550 before they are shipped out?

Yes every injector is tested and matched into a set of six. If one flows at 548 the other 5 will arrive at your door flowing 548

I like and trust suprasport parts and service so thats who i went with, hopefully these, an afc, a wideband and some tuning will take care of my cars problem.

firstly, the price isnt right. you can get mkiv 550s or RC 550s for ~350-400 dollars, no core charge. (BTW: i got my 550cc mkiv injectors for 200 bucks)

second, is this method of increasing the flow proven reliable?

there is no reason to take someones word for it no matter how reputable the guy is. prove to the customer that these injectors work, are safe, and reliable. PROVE IT.

Where have you seen RC's for less then 400 bills?

$535 looks about right for a new set of RC's, plus $8 for ea. pig tail ;).
I still like SS's 550's, plug n' play, no cut and crimp in new pigtails, and better spray pattern like Jack stated.

The SS injectors are reliable. We spent alot of time ourselves and with injector designers. The RC and PTE are direct spray injectors...which means they have poor atomization but higher flow because you bought a higher flowed machine.
As for flow charts, we use an ANSU injector testing equipment and each package has the exact flow on the box. No company has a machine that prints a chart. If you have a printed chart it is a generic piece of paper that the cc is filled in on. We attend regulary industry conventions (more than SEMA) and we have talked to every company that produces injector testing equipment and none of them have flow print outs. I will dig up a video clip on an injector machine being used, I don't think you guys know exactly what it is. I will upload it to U-tube and get the link for you later.

These are in no way produced by python/venom. The only part that is reused is the outer shell. The internals are all built for performance cars and are matched sets. The biggest difference in a set so far to date is 2cc.

The stock injector has excellent atomization which produces more burn hince more power! If you do not think the quality of our method is good, don't buy them. We have sold 97 sets to date with zero problems. That is 582 injectors that are proving reliable.

One of the reasons we went this route was to eliminate the need for the junk venoms and the fact you do not have to solder them in.

If you have questions just ask

now that is an excellent response. the information on the website is lacking unfortunately.

some of you guys are getting pissed off that we are questioning the part, but the guy has come through with some good info backing up his product. no one here is bashing his product, just stating that more info is needed.

thanks SSjack!

Jack - i would like to know if you actually do the in house modifications... because i found this site, which my work uses sometimes to get injectors, pumps. ect... and well, im sure you'll see the similarity...

http://www.fuelinjectioncorp.com/products/injectors.php

and they charge 450 for 6 to "modify" them...
im not calling you out or anything, but do you use an outside company such as this one to modify the injectors?

Fuel injection corp only rebuilds them to the same size, the can build new injectors to any flow but you have to supply a sample and they do not work with the stock clips, we talked to them at the AAPEX show

We actually work with three different companies for the injectors. The testing is not done in house, it is an outside company

I trust everything that comes out of suprasport. I would highly doubt they would sell a poor quality product. everything that i have ever bought from them is the highest quality and thats why i go to them when i need performance parts... even if i have to pay a little more.

Question for Jack.... will you eventually offer injectors with higher flow?

Yes we will be doing higher flow this summer. The 550 was the easiest for us to produce and the ones we have the most demand for. I think we are going with 550, 660, and 880 for this line of injectors, we are also looking into 1J now

he said he would take mine apart and just drill out the bottom orofice (sp?) to the desired cc/flow. he sounded like a knowledgeable guy...

i was just wondering more than anything, and i doubt you guys would sell a product if you didnt back it 100%

As soon as the Aussie dollar goes up a bit more I'm gonna buy me a set of these :D
I also like the idea of them being direct swaps, as the less stuff I need to change the better.

p.s. If a GB starts up count me in :D
