supra handles like crap in gran turismo games (much like real life)

do the usual mods and tweak the alignment a bit and they handle great...

I have em in forza an the GT games, oddly the MKIV is true to from and is more expensive to modify and buy...

In GT4, I started out with a JZA70, and I thought it handled really well right off the bat.... Maybe thats just me, though. Then I just beat Import Tuner Challenge (Tokyo Extreme Racer) with a JZA70, and it handled better than any other car I had in the garage (STI, RX-8, Fairlady Z32, FD, etc.). Umm, lets see... Forza 2, I've got a 7M swapped Mk3, and I've been destroying everyone with that. Also, NFS: Underground 1 & 2, Most Wanted, and Carbon, I've always bought the Mk4, and it always seems to do really well. I dunno, just my thoughts/experiences.

Haven't played Prostreet yet, though.... is it any good?

I beat the first showdown in about 3hrs that is with dominating all the races till then and taking time to play with settings on the cars.

I do have tyo admit that in the start the 240sx sucks till you up the handling. So far with the cars i have played with they are a good rep of the real things. But you have to have a seperate car for each style of racing. Grip is just a normal race with specials in there like grip sectors, time trials, etc; then there is drag self explaning; drift yet again self explaning(made it to easy to drift in this game); then the speed trials which so far i have had the most fun with just going for all out speed on a track for it.

So far I am pretty happy with it I started the NFS group with hot prsuit 1 and have seen the francise evolve with the games each has there own quarks and what not.

Also if anyone wants codes for some extra cash I found a few that work(360) I have 2 diffrent games 1 with them and 1 without.

You know, I loved the JZA70 in GT4, until I had 600+ HP and the thing couldn't brake to save its life. I tried tuning the brake system, but nothing seemed to make a difference. It handled fine, just couldn't brake.

^Everyone else I've talked to that's played it has said the same thing.

Game is pretty and everything but gameplay is garbage.

BoostLee told me it was awesome... Maybe its different from his 360 to my ps3?

Still not sure which games you're referring to. :dunno:

The Supra in Most Wanted handles fine. So do the ones in Underground 1 and 2(not that I liked those games all that much.)
I couldn't disagree more about Underground, and I never played most wanted.

I'm really not interested in arguing the point with you however, since I hate you quite a lot.

I agree with you there. The car was awesome when I started, but then when it got up around 500 hp or so, it really wasn't all that great anymore.

you guys gotta learn how to tune your cars LOL

the supra seems to not brake well because of a few factors, one being it's WEIGHT (WEIGHT REDUCTIONS help a hell of a lot), the ability to reach ludicrous speeds and not feel fast (odd... just like in real life), and suspension/tires. If trying to UP the brake force in the game doesn't help....try LOWERING it so the ABS doesn't kick in so hard....

I'll have to break out my copy (if I can damn well find it after the move) and post some specs that should help.

FYI: Anything in the same power range of the Turbo-A is NEWER and LIGHTER, it damn well better handle better than the fat Supra. The Turbo-A was the highest HP car in japan when it was released (very soon overtaken by the GT-R).

Also, I forgot to state that having too much power forces the computer to go nuts with the traction control and other helpers to keep your ass on the road. If you have a good wheel and pedal set you can drive without them and do well, but if not, go for well rounded and get your low end torque up...
