I've been playing Eve again lately, it's a nice fallback game.
I check Steam to see if anyone is playing TF2 first though. Even though the bastards at Valve screwed it up bigtime with the last update, where they made all the items random based on playtime, rather than skill based.

Jack - most of the time i'm playing on a lotusclan server - but i guess the massive time difference doesnt help 
Grimjack1968 is my avatar name. I'm Caldari, but I fly Amarr equipment. I'm basically a carebear running lvl4 PvE combat missions in high sec Empire space. I'm currently based out of Umokka. At least I think that's how you spell it.
I fly a reasonably high fit Marauder with maxxed skills. I've got one of the new T3 strategic cruisers fully fitted out as well, but I find the Marauder does a better job running missions.

Jesus - you do EVE as well? I sold my avatar for £20 - but look up KayT82 - was based out of lagsville...i mean, Jita. Caldari only equipment, in a Drake, at last check, and was mainly doing lvl3 PvE - but gave up due to being ganked in Empire space all the time. I hate being podded. And i never had enough armaments to fight back :/

I actually haven't played much since then, I'll have to log back in and get going again.
I've still got a couple of Dominix (also battleships) loaded up with a pretty good assortment of drones. One of them is fully rigged and has some neat gear on it. It can do some serious damage. I've also got a few battlecruisers and transports as well.

How were you getting ganked in Empire space? Were you visiting Rancor or something? Most of Empire is hi-sec, so as long as you can survive the 30 seconds or so it takes for Concorde to show up, you're fine.

I've got 2 characters, one called 2226 who flies caldari with mainly ewar skills and 5552 who flies amarr for pvp.
I got pretty lucky awhile back and ended up getting 2 rattlesnake (faction battleship) bpcs off of a couple of dread guristas guys. And then I ran a manufacturing corp for a bit and made a good amount from that too.
Based in Bika, about 10 jumps from Amarr.
I don't have my accounts active right now though because I was cutting expenses.
