Well a change in plans for the better

Once I get my pay check on friday I will be ordering coilovers and spacers. Now the question is what brand of coilovers.

I only want to spend 1,000 on a coilover set up so it is either the Megan tracks, K-sports, or Tiens what do you guys think? The car is mostly a DD but will be tracked later on.

How about spacers? what will be the best sizing for my offsets?

Well I haven't updated this in awhile school and work have been taking over my life.

Got all my parts installed including some new rear tires.

Here were some of the part issues:

1) A1 performance=CRAP DO NOT buy from them the trailing arm rod ends did not have enough thread on them to fit properly and I still haven't had time to call horsepowerfreaks up to figure this situation out.

2) TMS downpipe= CRAP DO NOT buy this downpipe it hits the transmission

But other than those two items I am happy with everything else

Big thanks to Jim at J-tuned Motorsports for installing the parts on my car over a weekend and keeping in great contact with me.

Reactions to the Stance coilovers:

I personally love them, I have them in the defualt setting and I have never ridden in any car that feels this great. This is my first set of coilovers so I really can't give you guys any expert opinions on them yet. The car has a basic alignment but needs a full alignment
at RT Tuning soon.

A new photoshot will also be coming when I get some time off to show off the new stance

The reason the dp hits the tranny is because the pipe points straight back and the exhaust angles to the drivers side. So when you bolt the two together it kicks the dp into the tranny. Since your running a convertor you could have the downpipe bent some if theres a shop that has a bender.

Did you have problems getting the two lower nuts on at the turbo? especially the one towards the block? On mine the nut hit the pipe and weld. :3d_frown: Takes around half an hour to get two nuts on.

I agree, this dp is the biggest POS I have seen. I dont know how they can sell any without getting every buyer bitching about them. I wish I wouldnt have let them talk me into not sending it back.:nono:
